Thanks to your support, our third installment of our freelancer networking party series, The Collective Vol. 3 was another night to remember! From the designs to the music and even to food and drinks, this was an event for freelancers, by freelancers. We saw a lot of great connections being made, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they manifest in the coming year!

The Collective is an ongoing event in celebration of the amazing community of freelancers in Japan! We had another fantastic DJ lineup, custom cocktails, tacos, and for Volume 3, we incorporated two new elements: a VIP pre-party session and an exhibition of our community members. The VIP session was an exclusive affair, offering a unique networking ambiance, while the exhibition turned the spotlight on our talented community members, showcasing their diverse expertise.

The VIP session at The Collective Vol. 3 was a vibrant hub for interaction between the freelancers and companies on Sollective’s platform. The centerpiece of the session was the shared experience of Glocalist CEO Mami Yoshikawa and freelance HR specialist Hiroki Matsuyama, whose collaboration story exemplified the fruitful connections made possible through Sollective’s network.

A highlight of The Collective Vol. 3 was the spotlight on 13 of our talented community members. Their profiles and works, ranging from writing to design, were prominently displayed throughout the venue, showcasing the diversity of skills within our community. The event's aesthetic, from branded materials to the captivating digital projections of member profiles on the walls and even the physical displays, were all created by amazing individuals within Sollective’s community.
