Enhanced for the Qualified Invoice System: Keiraku Contract v2 Update
The deadline for implementation of the Japanese Qualified Invoice System now looms over all Japanese business and freelancers. Sollective's Product Development team has been making sure that our freelance business tools are up to date for when the new system takes effect on October 01, 2023 so that all Sollective users (including freelancers as well as company members) are ready to work together under this new system.

Qualified Invoice System Specific Features
・New Option to specify Freelancer’s Invoice Registration Number to the contract ・Adds a new clause to warrant registration in the Qualified Invoice System
Stronger General Legal Protections
・Updates to Payments and Late Fee Clauses to better strengthen freelancer protections
Other Improvements
・Adds a new setting for invoicing for Delivery-based contracts: Freelancers/Companies who prefer to invoice at the end of the following month post-delivery may now chose this option. ・Our developer team has made further optimizations, speeding up the Keiraku app, so editing, sharing, and printing contracts should feel even faster.
Upgrading to the V2 Contract
Great news: Sollective users don’t have to do anything.
All new contracts generated using Keiraku® by Sollective will automatically be using V2 contract.
Members already using the V1 Contract can rest assured that these contracts remain legally valid, and there is no urgency to update to V2. If you’re currently drafting a V1 Contract, you can create a new contract to benefit from the new contract version.
If you’re not sure what version of the contract you’re on: the version should be displayed right underneath the title of the contract in the edit and preview screens.
※Keiraku is now known as FreelanceOS Contracts
